Back in my auditing days, I probably prepared or reviewed several hundred cash flow statements. I was always careful to prepare a very detailed worksheet supporting the statement. I may have plugged the odd $1,000 here and there but $300 million!! I think not.

Being an accountant of a public company today is a high risk assignment.

I personally think that the Olis sentence is too severe. The pictures of Olis and his family are very sad. The second article mentioned that there may be some individuals higher up the ladder that were involved in this particular scam. I hope that Olis sings like a bird. He certainly has an incentive.
