Yesterday's Skywaves Report presents an interview with a guy at "Navigation Technologies". In this article they specifically confirm that real-time traffic data will soon be available, delivered via XM's bandwidth to XM receivers that area also capable of providing radio content. You'll be able to drive down the road and see traffic tieups and alternate routes on your nav screen. This kind of data, in addition to audio programming, is the future of Satellite Radio.
