GWB losing lots of support on the conservative side. This tends not to show up in the polls, expect maybe as small changes in the independent vote in conservative states.

What Kerry has to do now is not put his foot wrong. So far the Republican attacks have gained very little traction or credibility.

He could use some economic help from Rubin/Summers, etc. - the Clinton team has lots of credibilithy on the economic area, on both main street and Wall Street.

Question is, are the CLintons going to support Kerry, or secrertly stab him in the back ?

Other possiblity is GWB and team floating another fruitcake proposal, then not dropping it quickly. Mars proposal a great example, the halfway in/out registration of Mexican aliens another.
