As for the rest of it, you're right again. There's no point arguing about the book with me because I am not going to read it. I'm looking forward, not backward.

Right now I am boning up on foreign exchange again, because the debate on outsourcing offshore is heating up.

I have a difficult time grasping foreign exchange rates when more than two countries are involved, but it's essential to do so in order to really understand what's going on.

If the yuan is pegged to the dollar (which it is), and the yen/dollar rate drops from 130 to 85, what does that do to the yuan/yen rate? Are Chinese goods cheaper for Japanese, or vice versa? Wonder if they'll ever publish "Foreign Exchange for Dummies"?
