Who knows. I think all the talk about motives is a deliberate Bush strategy to (a) change the subject and (b) confuse the public.

I suppose you think that the publication of the book and the timing of his testimony at the start of the Presidential election season are simply coincidences, then.

Please. None of us have just fallen off the political tomato truck.

Clarke is as pure as snow driven soot. If you don't consider his motives as evidenced by the timing of things, then you will uncritically accept what he has to say. But since he is on your side, that's not so bad, is it?
