The fog is beginning to lift a bit and I might be able to see which way the Democrats are heading.

Since everyone including the Democrats knew way beforehand when the book could be released they chose the appropriate time to release if for maximum damage.

Having expressed their extreme disatisfaction over the conduct of the war ,beginning even before it started, they ran out of words and effectiveness.

The new course now is to discredit the Administration for conducting one of the swiftest, cleanest, and most effective wars in history.

With the sidewinder approach of saying that if Saddam , who had incensed the UN for 10 years with his lies and deception had not been on the Administrations platter then all would be well today and the WTC attack could have been foiled.

Possibly, maybe, if the final AQ dots had been connected before 911. Which only Clark would have been able to do, if he had kept his job.

So by golly, it was all Clarks fault.A personality defect.

If he was not so damn ornery and aggressive he might have kept the job and connected those dots.

Much has been done about Al Queda and even if more feet were on the ground it appears that OBL , that elusive devil, could still be alive two years later. As he probably is today.

Adding intelligence manpower to the Al Queda hunt does little to detract from our military capability to deal with Iraq.

Even Bilow agrees that it is more in line with police work than the work soldiers do.
