I agree. At this point, however, the reality is that it's either Shrub or Kerry. Considering that Shrub is out and out dangerous (and a lazy coward to boot) to the US and to the world, I'll take Kerry and see how he does for 4 years.

While Kerry was lobbying governments against the war in Vietnam (in which he fought), Shrub was getting drunk somewhere and avoiding combat. Nothing appears to have changed much in the character of these two politicos in the 30 years since then.
