Bush falls from 70% to 57% on approval of way he handles security and terrorism. That's from just two months ago. washingtonpost.com "...The survey found 57 percent of voters said they approved of the way Bush had handled the war on terrorism and homeland security, down from a high of 70 percent two months ago. The poll was conducted after Clarke's televised appearance before a 9/11 panel last week and the release of his book that details his allegations.... The poll found Bush's overall approval rating was steady at 49 percent. He remained in a virtual tie with Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, the survey found...." ========Gee, less than half approval of Bush overall.
