David,

RE: Steak.

Neither compares to Ruth's Chris, but the prices are far more reasonable. At Lone Star or Outback, you can get a NY strip dinner for about $15. At Ruth's Chris, it's $25 ala cart [if I remember right].

Why do I prefer Outback over Lone Star? The seasonings are great [I always get extra], the bread is fantastic, the service is great, and food quality is somewhat higher. (These are my opinions, anyway.) The prices and menus are almost identical.

Several months ago, I was going to buy some OSSI so I ran some numbers and came to the same conclusion that you did: STAR appears to be the better value as a stock. But I just couldn't bring myself to buy either stock.

Good luck with your investments and steaks!
