Appears to me that the WH cut it off because Ed Bradley wasn't letting go of the interview.

His follow-ups on everything she said were tough ... particularly when he cut her off cold when she tried to steer it to "what the WH has done right."

Pretty funny. And unusual for any mainstream media vehicle these days, eh?
