Gosh, I hope your wrong that its too late. I will tell you what I am worried about and what seems similar to what you say. That is: I am not a "Bible Thumper" but I believe in God, I believe this nation was founded by God Fearing People and I believe our principles are founded upon the wisdom of the bible and even the 10 Commandments (which I understand in one form or another are found in many religions). Now, just last night, I saw on T/V that there is a movement to remove, "SO HELP ME GOD" from taking the oath in Court. Now this along with the other God removal stuff is REALLY GETTING OUT OF HAND, IMHO. A very SMALL group of Aethiests are attempting to DICTATE to the large majority of people in this country who for the most part are AT LEAST God fearing if not religious. I dont think thats right. I dont think the Constitution was EVER designed to make us a GODLESS nation and frankly, I fear the results far more then I fear someone hearing the name GOD who doesnt believe in GOD. This is one of the reasons I so hope Bush gets reelected. If a crazy leftie like Kerry gets in there, appoints one or two more Leftist Supreme court members not to mention Superior court judges it wont matter anymore what YOU AND I think, these people LEGISLATE FROM THE BENCH with no power of the people to stop them. jdn
