My fault, I only looked at the day you wrote that message, not the time. Thursday, began with an extremely positive article in Fortune magazine about the entire tech sector, I'm not sure how much influence they have, but it seems like that attributed to the general rally in the morning. This simply carried on in the afternoon. Another very positive item for the semiconductor industry, is that LSI Logic says that order have accelerated in the month of January from December. As for ACTL specifically, the general market mood helped, but I think that the stock is finally beginning to trade up on its better-than-expected EPS report. FPGA players also may have be hoping that ACTL will follow ALTR and XLNX which have moved much more recently.
