Clinton said it not Hannity.

If I ever run across a link, I’ll post it. Since it was aired on the radio, and he does not do regular archives, it may be difficult. Anybody who listened last week will have heard it. I think you can count on the fact that ABC or CBS will never air it.

That aside, people need to understand the importance of the story. The story is not important for what it says about Clinton, but what it says about the war on terror.

Clinton was dealing with terrorism as a law-enforcement problem. Now, the discussion of whether terrorism is a law-enforcement problem or a military one is as old as I can remember, and probably goes back to the raid on Entebbe, perhaps as far back as the 1940’s during the formative years of Israel. One can disagree with Clinton's approach, but IMO it is difficult to be very critical in this regard because it was not an unreasonable - at that time.

Regardless, it illustrates the problem of trying to deal with terrorism as primarily a law-enforcement issue, both in its real-time application, and its long term consequences.

Do you know anybody who currently thinks that terrorism is primarily a law-enforcement issue?
