bb, Nope, because my job was too important and, for awhile, I was the only one in our theater who could do it. But I did move up and down the ranks pretty handily. I remember when I was discharged being told that I would be restored to my highest achieved rank if I re-enlisted. Yeah, like how long would that last. The Army was weird. The guys they liked and treated well, they pretty much chased away, and the ones they treated like dog poop on the carpet, they bent over backwards to retain when their enlistments were up. <G>
