I wonder on what basis you disagree with the above statement? What are your credentials Solon? Do you have a PH.D. in any of these areas; "Ancient Near East; Ancient Greece; Ancient Rome; Christianity and the Roman Empire; Reformation Era"?

If not, which one of these are you; "sadly misinformed, tragically closed-minded, or dishonest."?
