At the show, QUALCOMM demonstrated a reference design for a new IP-based, compact, modular CDMA base station system which utilized one of Unity's integrated 3-sector RF front-end products. QUALCOMM announced it is making this reference design base station available to selected licensees. Unity Wireless is also offering the integrated RF front-end component directly to its customers. The Company believes that several new projects for an international group of customers should result shortly from the highly productive environment at the show. Other new relationships forged at the show should produce purchase orders for product development within the next few weeks.
