How about that company with the much-hyped possible cancer "cure"? After surging 103% on nothing but bullish hysteria and nada for fundamentals, that baby's gonna give up some of those gains for sure...anyone who went short on Fri with a tight stop in case a delayed reaction by more lemmings at Mon open, I think will do quite well

I played it a bunch of times (all long) and ran for the hills with locked in profits on Friday. No way would I have shorted this one on Friday, or even on Friday's close. The weekend lemmings would hear about this one friday evening, and sure enough, they where lining up before open. If you followed it durring the day on friday you would know what I mean. <G> I know someone who shorted in on the way up at 10 from 7ish. He covered with a loss of $13,000 in a matter of hours. The 52 week high for the stock is 18, and it could easily see 20 in another rally....maybe tommorrow. It could also tank. I am going to look at shorting it around 16+ or so in the morning.

I hope you were not short GERN at friday's close. Stocked gapped up on open 2 1/2 points. I tried to buy on a retracement, but it was moving so fast that even level 2 was not making sense, I am told. It is probably a safe short now. Just put a bandage over your eyes until friday, because it may have some wild peaks during the many shakes that the many MMs are putting it through. I am hoping for a couple of points on it if I get in at all short. I am finnished long.
