I'd be careful before you dismiss the opinions of Canadians. We are joined at the hip; are allies; and we are the largest customer of 31 of the 50 states.

So many Canadians have relatives in the US; more than half my family is from or lives in USA. We are not that disconnected from US public opinion in the end.

Had Bush shown a clear link between Iraq and its own security, there would be more support for the administration's position.

During the marketing campaign for Iraq War II - The Sequel, Bush's best card was Colin Powell and the perception of integrity he carried within the international community. Now that card has been burned. I don't see how George pulls out of this one. Hundreds of thousands of troops and spies and surveillance equipment and air superiority - and still no evidence that supports his rationale for going to war in the first place...
