Hey Steve and Jim! I'm from Lexington and a U.of R./ U.Va girl! Sure miss my mountains-now I live next door to Molly Ivins in Cowtown Texas. Christine-great thread. This is a lot more fun than watching my children's college fund go up in smoke. As a new investor, it's been hard to appear macho(macha? machette?) about my losses. It's not the money as much as my self-esteem! Who was I to think that I could play with the big boys? Should have stayed in the kitchen. OOps-gotta watch that tendency to revert to my prefeminist upbringing in the face of adversity. penni
