I do have an idea that if Bush and the Republicans are going to pass a $2.4 trillion budget for 2005, they ought to be willing to collect $2.4 trillion in taxes.

But they're not. They don't think it's fair to the American taxpayer to pay as much in taxes as Bush and the Republicans want to spend.
