Jobs: I found my post from last month on jobs ... Message 19880014 We are in the same situation this month. The whisper number is again 200+K. The "expected" number is 123K (but that would be disappointing). There is some evidence that the situation has improved slightly: help wanted is up, layoffs are down, initial claims are down ... all positives for jobs. Friday should be interesting.
