The case for a bull in Orange Juice. Last week I talked about how the Atkins and other fad diets were killing orange juice. Now, I'm going to mention why the 27 year low we hit looks like a good buying point: 1. OJ is big in Florida. Bush needs to win Florida, honestly, this time, if possible. Look for the Bush/Cheney initiative to cure scurvy in undeveloped countries. 2. Fad diets disappear. Some, like Atkins, reappear, but they then disappear again. 3. McDonald's is no longer supersizing fries. Fries are the main source of vitamin C for many young Americans. Once they start dropping like flies (that's flies, not fries <G>), the govt. will push oj for every school child. 4. Look for some pro-oj "scientific" studies because of #1. Researchers sell to the highest bidder and Bush is loaded with cash. 5. Look for growers to turn orange groves into theme parks that terrorists are NOT targeting. 6. It will soon be getting warm in America.
