The important lesson is that handling it as a law enforcement matter does not work.

Like I said before your characterization of an either or scenario makes no sense.

The most important issue in the war on terror is intelligence. The second most important issue is eliminating terrorists. That can and has been done by both military means and also law enforcement means.

When you look at deaths by terror under the Clinton administration it is the least number of Americans killed than under Reagan, Bush I or Bush II. More Americans were killed under Bush II that in the previous three. Why? Because Bush chose to ignore the terror warnings from Tenet, Clarke and others.

And if he would have heeded the warnings, what would be the right response? It would have been an intensive FBI and CIA manhunt here in the US looking for the terrorists. That would have been a law enforcement issue and an intelligence issue.

What are you going to do send in the tenth mountain division to get Moussaui in Michigan?

You just keep repeating the RNC talking points. You look dumber and dumber each time you repeat the failed mantras of the right.

It's this myopic point of view that has us behind the eight ball in the war on terror, as we pissed away lives, money and respect in Iraq.

Time to get real leadership. Time to vote for Kerry in 2004
