If Bush and the Republicans are expanding LBJ's Medicare, what hope does the right really have in terms of the big picture? None at all, at least not on this side of heaven. God willing! The Christian right will lose one way or another, it's not a tenable position. Indeed, but we have Hope. For you, this little slice of insignificance you call "life" is as good as it will ever be. Ultimately, what little you now have, will all be taken away - and soon. You might like Saudi Arabia: no income tax and no gay marriage. There is no need to live amongst pure heathens to find peace. It exists in pockets here and there.
