Thanks for that link. It is an incredible sight indeed. It certainly makes you think of what will happen to lives if an atomic explosion ever occurs.........anywhere. The lives of everyone will be unalterably changed forever. All your earthly possessions will be forever lost.

This website shows why nuclear plants should be built in isolated areas............not near any populated areas, if they should be built at all. I can't help but think of all the plants that are built near large cities here in the US. Supposedly, their advocates claim they are safe but I have my doubts.

Several years ago I was in Houston at a meeting and I met a fellow that had been a inspector at nuclear plants. After several margaritas, he said he got out of the business and went into inspecting uranium mines because he couldn't take the mental stress of knowing what could happen if the plants were constructed poorly. According to him there was a ton of pressure on him to "look the other way". Christ, I hope he was BS'ing.
