Hyundai and Kia should be selling their cars in China. But maybe they cannot because they don't want to build parts in China. Their sedans and minivans in US are very nice vehicles at extremely attractive prices. Amanti and Optima are very beautiful sedans with unbelievable 100,000 miles warranty.

A German friend of mine has a Kia Sedona van. He used to be pure American car driver after Volkswagen stopped selling cars here. He once bought a used Mercedes and kept it less than a year because cost of maintenance was too high. Mercedes and BMW are overpriced and not worth the price nor cost of servicing.

He never liked and never bought Japanese car. Three years ago, his wife bought a Kia van and they were both impressed with reliability, so subsequently he bought one. My next vehicle will almost likely be one of these Kia or Hyundai, if they continue to have good ratings from Consumer Reports.
