ted, re: Rice makes me ill.

You're not alone:
"9/11 Panel Wants Rice Under Oath in Any Testimony"
nytimes.com
"...
"I would like to have her testimony under the penalty of perjury," said the commission's chairman, Thomas H. Kean, the former Republican governor of New Jersey, in comments that reflected the panel's exasperation with the White House and Ms. Rice, the president's national security adviser.
..."

I'd like to see the Clarke's emails. I imagine something like" Dr. Rice! It's urgent. We need to do something. There's chatter around. Attacks could be imminent. Mr. Ashcroft already advised not to use commercial flights!".

And then I like to hear the answers by Rice (and Bush).

QUESTION:
"What made you think that the urgent calls by Mr. Clarke, a long time counterterrorism expert appointed by you, are to neglect? Did you have information we don't know yet? Why did you choose to ignore the warnings of your counterterrorism chief? What's the rational behind your inactivity?"
