A chance of electing someone worse

What is your basis for this conclusion. We know that Kerry, when it came to keeping within the law, signed up for the draft. His opponents are saying that he came from a rich family and with that family wealth, you would think he could have used influence to dodge the draft. But he didn't. Again his opponents say that he asked for deferment because he wanted to go to college. That is perfectly legal, is it not? And then when things did not work out he signed up and left for Vietnam. Now we know what Bush did with his draft.

So I would vote for a person after examining what the person did and not what the person says. When Kerry had an opportunity to dodge he didn't do so. When Bush had the opportunity he grabbed it. That speaks for a character of a person and that is reason enough. Not Senate votes and the interpretation by the Bush campaign, since anything Bush and his folks interpret would be suspect, a opinion and a suspicion I have developed based on what Bush did when he was younger.
