Hawk, do you know when the Federal Law began that kept the FBI and CIA information confidential from each other?

Not positive, but I would likely believe it came out of the '60s and later the Church Commission:

But intelligence sharing is normally "one-way" and highly filtered to protect "sources and methods". The kind of cooperation we're seeing now is probably unprecedented in its scale of actual mutual cooperation.
