It worked with Gaddafi who was economically choked by the international community. The economic sanctions broke his back. He too like Saddam had oil and could have been dealing with countries that Bush accuses of dealing with Saddam. But these countries like France, Russia etc, whom Bush accused of underhand dealings in Iraq, did not do so with Libya. So my question is if they did not do so with Libya, why should I believe the Bush propaganda with regards to Iraq.

Any country will bend under the threat of economic sanctions. We not need a military solution. People need food. Cut of the food supply and they will give in. There is no need to use bullets.
