I had a friend that hid his fifth of Jack Daniels in the oven in a fraternity house. Someone else's date decided to make cookies.

My parents also had a cleaning woman who could not be stopped from dumping her sweepings into the fire in the fireplace. Until she swept up several .22 rounds that had been spilled. Then there was the the time the Electrolux not only picked up a few pellets of calcium carbide but a little water. This generated acetylene and the next time it was turned on it blew itself all to hell.
