All Krugman has managed to notice is that the opinion pages of Ha'aretz are stuffed with Leftie Don't-Get-It's just as clueless as he is. He might as well look for his "proofs" on the pages of The Nation.

And new evidence keeps emerging for Mr. Clarke's main charge, that the Iraq obsession undermined the pursuit of Al Qaeda. From yesterday's USA Today: "In 2002, troops from the Fifth Special Forces Group who specialize in the Middle East were pulled out of the hunt for Osama bin Laden to prepare for their next assignment: Iraq. Their replacements were troops with expertise in Spanish cultures."...

Actually, this is not new evidence, it is the ONLY specific evidence ever produced to support the charge that the war in Iraq was a "distraction" to the War on Terror, and not a part of it. Richard Clarke is a monomaniac on Al Qaeda; others were able to notice that the US has more than one enemy.
