From yesterday's USA Today: "In 2002, troops from the Fifth Special Forces Group who specialize in the Middle East were pulled out of the hunt for Osama bin Laden to prepare for their next assignment: Iraq. Their replacements were troops with expertise in Spanish cultures."... Actually, this is not new evidence, it is the ONLY specific evidence ever produced to support the charge that the war in Iraq was a "distraction" to the War on Terror, and not a part of it. Richard Clarke is a monomaniac on Al Qaeda; others were able to notice that the US has more than one enemy.
