RE: energy equities "acting like it's $25 oil/$4 NG." Yes, this seems very odd indeed, although if I'm not mistaken it has been like this for a while.

Also, there is little doubt in my mind that if gasoline prices keep increasing that the politicians will seek a remedy, whether it be SPR and/or cutting of gasoline taxes. The gasoline price issue is just too explosive for the politicians not to address, especially during an election year.
