A more likely scenario is the hold out is just plain dumber than s**t. I was a juror at a big dope dealing trial one time and after a week long trial, we had this guy hang us up for 8 hours before he finally came around. It got mighty tense in just one day of trying to convince the moron. I can't imagine deliberating for 9 days. They must be ready to kill that poor woman.
