So despite Mr Clarks enthusiasm and obvious capabilities he was not able to present a clear enough picture to convince the Clinton Administration to go abroad and "take-out" OBL or the Al Queda.

If 2001 had been Clintons next and last term, would anything have changed? Probably not, until the date 911.

It takes some kind of crisis for a President to be diverted, change saddles, and call on his troops to ride off in a new direction.

911 would have occurred anyway, it was in the cards and not the fault of either Clinton or Bush.

The commission is of great value to compute how intelligence agencies could have done a better job. Why contaminate the study with politics.?

No need to ask that, everyone knows its an election year.
