I have a question/comment unrelated to computers.

Lately when I rent a DVD from Blockbuster I can play it on my little DVD player attached to my television but when I try to play them on my DVD player on my computer it gives me a message saying there is no DVD in the drive. I have other DVD's (not rented from blockbuster) that play just fine but I'll be damn when I rent one it simply will not play. I have a great sound system on my computer and from time to time I enjoy watching DVD's on it.

Has Blockbuster installed some kind of technology on their DVD's or what?
