It is very easy to lose sight of this fact when you have daily bashing by not only the Left but the entire news media. If one looks past the biased news reporting and the Leftist anger, what one sees is absolute integrity. This is evidenced by the fact that there has yet to be EVEN ONE bonafide incident of inappropriate activity. While the Left has levelled numerous allegations, every one is easily shown to be false. Consider the previous administration: Travelgate. Filegate. Crimes committed by several cabinet officials. Several women groped by the president; Whitewater. The list just goes on. None of which were ever DIS-proven. There is a court of law, and then, there is a court of public opinion. For a politician, the court of public opinion is often more important than a court of law. You don't have to prove that someone has done something wrong to get a bad smell and want them out of office. Bill Clinton may have perjured himself but in the court of public opinion his crime was forgivable. If that were not true, Gore would not have done as well as he did in 2000. Then there was Richard Nixon......he got crucified in the court of public opinion so much so that he felt forced to resign the presidency. This concept of public opinion is foreign to you all as evidenced by your posts and the behavior of this administration. That's because in your heart of hearts I don't think you all really believe in democracy. In once sense, this whole episode in American history is unfortunate......Americans have unleashed a very bad thing on the world; something that is cloaked in Godisms and patriotism and morality but nonetheless is very bad. On the other hand, Americans are galvanized politically like never before......maybe Americans will truly begin to appreciate their democracy and not allow people who smell funny into public office. As for you, I hope for your family's sake, you don't act in your home like you do on this thread.
