Emory, I can understand the SyJet decision, that is smart. But the LS-120? Even if it was SCSI, it would still be slower than a $10 garden variety 3.5" floppy drive. The speed limitation is in the LS-120 drive, not the interface. Now be honest, would you just be doing it out of spite for IOM? If so, choose a floppy and an EZ-230 instead. Or at least just stick to the floppy until the super-floppy standard is settled. I have 2 Zips. If I guessed wrong, I can still share with 7M+ other users. If you guess wrong, who will you share your LS-120 disks with? |
