Yes, I think Sprott is certainly among the sharpest money managers. I respect people who are ultra-bearish on the general stock market...although I am not sure that during a period of massive general market selling the gold stocks will suffer as many envision. IMHO the evidence in that regard is questionable.

So what do you think of the Wheaton - Iamgold merger? I know you have followed WHT closely. If this is truly a case of Iamgold taking over WHT, I am surprised that WHT sold out for a mere 22% premium. A 22% premium for these stocks is negligible...I think that an independent WHT would do much better, simply because of their managerial and deal-making ability. It's hard to say what role Telfer and the other WHT execs will play in this new company.
