Nortel wins $750 million EDC waiver "Nortel Networks Corp. (Toronto:NT.TO - News) said on Monday it had obtained a conditional waiver from Export Development Canada that will give it continued access to support from the government agency despite a delay in filing its financial results.... Because of delay in filing documents, Nortel warned earlier this month its support facility from the Export Development Canada could be at risk. The facility, worth up to $750 million, is effectively used to help secure transactions with international customers...."-- Reuters
