"Bush, GOP" have "accused" Clarke of PERJURY. People who have read both of the accounts of Clarke, to which they refer, have stated unequivocally that there is no significant difference. They accused treasurer Oneil before he backed off. They accused Hans Blix of a history of incompetence. They accused another inspector of improprieties with children. They accused the Clinton administration of trashing the White House. They accused the Clinton administration of having NO plan to address Al Queda. They accused Ambassador Wilson as having used the connections of his wife, and in so doing they deliberately outed a CIA operative. They've accused Kerry of voting against weapons programs, against support for veterans, of having an affair with a woman while he was undergoing treatment for prostrate cancer, and of voting for tax hike after tax hike etc, etc.

Now why do you think this time they're doing the "accusing" out of principle?
