Anindo and I are seeing a little improvement in jobs in Silicon Valley but it looks like the midwest might bring us down. If we get another bad jobs report on friday the markets will fall again imo. If we get close to 100K, (which really isn't even all that great) I say a decent rally from here. Slowdown in Midwest Hiring Dims Job Hopes But perhaps more worrying for those banking on the kind of pick-up in hiring that has so far eluded the broader economy, the employment component of the Chicago Purchasing Management Index dropped sharply.
