Art, The range of ISO on my Canon is 100 to 1000 and the range of lenses is huge. Both Nikon and Canon make fabulous digital cameras. I personally chose the canon route as I liked their options slightly better at the time I purchased. Since I now have a wide choice of existing lens I will stay with Canon. I only hope you are as happy with the D70 as I am with my Canon. Clean
