From Brad on Yahoo Wow! 31 March 2004 United Associated Press President Forms Commission on Biometric Standards. 31304 The White house today announced that President Bush has formed a blue ribbon commission of biometric industry leaders to develop biometric standards for the coordination of massive identification programs due to roll out this year. Selected to chair the commission is Dr. Joeseph Atick, CEO of Identix Inc. Other commission members include John Lynch, CEO of Datastrip UK, Bob Mc Cashin, EDS Systems (ret) and Mustafa Koan, a biometric consultant to fourtune 500 companies. The group will report directly to the President, and is expected to begin their work early next week, and will present a biometric standard to the President no later than May 1st, 2004. end.
