I did some research and found that 400K jobs have been outsourced outside the U.S.

And you've got to also consider how many jobs have been saved (or even created) as a result. For example, if SLR, SANM, JBL, FLEX and CLS weren't allowed to shutter some of their expensive US-based manufacturing plants and relocate them to Asia, they would probably be bankrupt by now (the US plants couldn't compete with the Asian plants) and they would have ZERO US-based jobs instead of however many there are left (there are some, ya know).

And if you look on it with a global perspective (rather than just a US-centric perspective), if someone overseas is willing and able to do a job for 1/2 the salary of an American, they should be able to. That's the free market, and the basis of our economy.

The foreign worker gains, the unemployed American suffers, and the cost of the product made is cheaper for everyone on the planet.

Rather than harping on all the jobs being lost, why don't you anti-outsource fans harp on how high the cost of US labor is? That's the cause (high US labor cost) of the overseas outsourcing, nothing else.
