productivity is not really growing Jake. What is growing is offshoring, where 3 managers here are running 100-person offshore teams. In other words low productivity labor is offshored which makes it look like the US workforce is hyper productive. There are many economists who have written papers about this but Steven Roach is probably most on the ball.
