Hi Ron, As an anti-war activist and anti-colonialist, I would have hoped the networks would have been more honest here in the U.S. Once again, they are sugar-coating the nature of war and hiding the truth from the American public. The Pentagon has learned the lessons of Viet Nam well. No visuals of body bags arriving at Dover. In fact flights are scheduled so that they arrive in the dead of night. Today, the Pentagon did admit, and Democracy NOW! announced that over 18,000 U.S. soldiers have been evacuated for medical and related reasons from Iraq in the past year. 18,000 futures screwed up. And for what?
