First of all, there is an important distinction between AA and say Rush's show. AA is a full blown station or network, whatever you call it, whereas Rush just has a show. The coverage I have seen indicates that there were plenty of stations in places like Chapel Hill that wanted Franken's show, but AA doesn't package it that way, its all or nothing.

If O'Reilly and Rush required networks to go 100% conservative instead of just taking their show, they would have lower penetration.
