While Clinton since has regretted his Administration's passivity in the Rwandan horror, the Bush Administration ignores a fresh holocaust-like disaster in Western Sudan's Darfur Province, where Khartoum-backed Arabs are slaughtering dark-skinned fellow Moslems. Does the war on terror preclude us from even taking mild diplomatic measures to let Sudan's leadership know we disapprove? What kind of nation are we becoming?
