The "long term" is very likely to be shorter than a lot of people think-especially the Social Security welfare queens, who are our modern enuchs.

I sincerely doubt we will wait on many of these reforms-as Europe has-until we are in permanent depression. The flat tax and tort reform could lead the way, while there is STILL time to apply means testing and incremental privatization to the Socal Security Fraud before the kids emerge to throw the Boomers out in the streets and even shed their blood in the process.

This all is-as I mentioned-about the COST of mass ignorance. The Boomers are capable of seeing the writing on the wall. It is only a question of character, or the lack thereof. That, BTW, is THE story of that generation...
